6M3W Summer Weekend in Hsinchu

Good Morning peeps, grandpa drove us to Hsinchu at 7.30am!

 It's time to practice crawling again after sitting in the car for 1.5 hours.

 I crawled more steps today & did some swimming in the tub.

Just when I was swimming, more guests from taipei arrived! After hours of napping, I'm ready to play!

Cell phone, iPad, keychains, it was too stimulating, too many choices to make!

Meeting Albert & Jasmine for the 1st time! They are getting married next march!

 Also meeting Uncle John for the 1st time.

I fell right asleep after our guests from taipei left. 

After a night entertaining guests, we still woke up early and papa drove us to the "Flying cow" ranch. 

Breastfeeding mama had to pose in front of these lanterns.

If it wasn't so hot, we would have rolled down the hill on the green green grass. 

Would LOVE love love to come back again in the fall when I start walking. Mama would also love to have a picnic and spend a full day at the ranch!

If we didn't live close by, I'll like to stay for a night at the train cabin hotel~

6M2W Yoga with mama

Mama, being a full time mama for the past 6 months has been quite hectic. Other than heading out alone with mama, it's time for us to meet other mums and babies! Off to Mummy & baby Yoga!

Here's a video of my 1st try held upside down. Mama almost freaked out, but I'm a braveheart.

 

At 6M2W, I'm the oldest in the class. There's a 2M old boy, 3M old boy, 5M old japanese baby girl.

Finally a girl of my age! Just 11 days younger, she babbles throughout the class, so did I. 

Mama is the one doing the yoga poses while I practice crawling on the mat. 

After an hour, Baby Q makes her way over to say hello! 

Baby Q can sit up well so well without any support but I can't. 

But I can crawl forward little by little when I'm motivated to play!

6M1W Suburban life

It's one hot summer day.  We stopped by the lotus field on the way back to the weekend house.

Flowers come to a full bloom in the morning and they close up in the afternoon.

Lotus leaf is as big as me!

My afternoon feast begins while mama brews some tea.

Yucks. Tasting the pink guava for the 1st time didn't go too well.. 

 I had my hair cut by mama in this chair but mama decided to give me a haircut while I snooze.

Getting a manicure while awake is more interesting than ever!

 I also get to sit on the table with papa & mama while they had their dinner. 

 I chewed on my baby banana.

 Tried to do some downward facing dog with papa but I turned sideways.. to practice sitting UP!

 I continue to practice flipping, crawling while awake, even when half asleep, kicking papa and mama in the middle of the night.

 Andrew came over to keep me company one afternoon! Mama and Regina had afternoon tea & chatted non-stop while Andrew and I played side by side. Time passed by quickly for both mama and me!

I love holding hands with babies! yes babies only! 

Happy 6 Months Old!

Dec 18th, 2011, I finally met mama & papa at 1.52am. I was only 2.5kg.

Till this date, I'm probably a little over 7kg.

6 months of exclusively breast milk diet is finally coming to a full stop. It's time for some high chair fun.

 Mama takes a photo of me on the 18th every month to celebrate.

 I also received a present!

 It's a book about papa bear taking baby bear fishing in the woods. Since I've just started on semi-solids, I get to bite the fish caught by papa bear.

So far, for the 1st 2 days, I've tasted some really blend.... porridge. I get to suck on apples, peaches, bread, sweet potatoes, bamboo shoots! 

Papa bought me a new stroller! It's mama's favorite color, it's super light and most importantly, it'll help relieve mama's backache! 

Halfway through 2012

At 5M 3W, June 4-8th is once again the annual computex, papa will be in taipei all week!!! Can't believe it's June! Mama was still working till the end of June last year before she took off, traveling to S'pore, Czech republic & Kyushu, Japan. Flipping on my tummy constantly, pushing my butt up & forward to reach my toys has been my new gig. 

 Post computex dinner @ Fridays. All the waitresses and waiters said I'm way too cute. Loved the hanging lights & being held all night long at dinner ;)

Papa worked hard on all day saturday & even real early on sunday morning.......

I finally get to hang out watching the game, NBA.

Papa read about this new belgium waffle place, B'waffle. Couldn't trust the iPhone google map that got us all walking in the wrong direction under the heat! But the waffle topped with chocolate was well worth the heat! 

Lotus sighting

After a long nap on a sunday afternoon, we hurried out to the botanical gardens for some lotus flower sighting. Bottle feeding didn't go too well due to too much distractions...

 Look at my eyes! Mama said I look like a china doll >_<

 It's a breezy & cool day, perfect to be out!

 Lotus flowers are about to come to a full bloom, maybe we'll come back another day!

Friends @ W-house

Yet another week at the suburbs, it's been almost a month since our last visit! 

 After being fussy on the 1st night at the W-house, friends came over to visit! 

 Andrew definitely caught up. We are both almost 7kg! We held hands, played side by side after lunch. A group picture is a must before we all pass out...

Another milestone achieved this week @ 5M 2W!

I find playing with my feet entertaining.

 Mama caught me putting it in my mouth!
