Papa & mama chose to stay in taiwan instead of going away to thailand for papa's company trip this year. So here we took a drove down south.
1st Stop: An old building that was once an optician turned into....
a library?!
nah.
Books? nah..these are all gift boxes of milk candies
That sales lady didn't know I'm too young for the sample of pineapple tart
Ice Cream parlor flocked with tourists
the grand entrance
After a looooong line, 3 scoops & 4 toppings -a pineapple tart, cheese cake, cookie & banana
One word YUM
Off we headed to grandpa's college,
that's the famous Luce chapel, designed by I.M Pei.
but I didn't like crawling on grass
Grandpa and grandma came along with us on the 1st day and headed back in the evening after dinner
We were all tired when we reached the hotel. Snoozed early as we will going swimming at the outdoor pool in the morning.
Caught in action while we had breakfast in the park by the natural science museum
This scene reminds mama of Central park somehow,
can you imagine how much she misses being in NYC?
Natural science museum has a glass forest that we went to, it's a mini version compared to the Cloud forest in Singapore. But hey, we paid less than 1 US dollars to get in. What a deal!
It was too hot to be outside
We headed indoors to the Top City mall for breastfeeding and lunch
Next stop, another mall. Eslite bookstore to check out the famous "green"building
I napped while papa and mama explored the outdoor art exhibits. I slept through the 2nd half of the trip, and it was time to drive home when I woke up. I dislike being in the car seat even on short distances, let alone a 1 hour ride!
